About Us

According to independent research by the British Council, by 2030;

Youth not oil, will be Nigeria’s greatest asset”.

Today, 60% of Nigeria’s 167 million population are under the age of 15. By 2030, Nigeria will be one of only a handful of countries around the world with a young vibrant workforce. This provides a great opportunity for Nigeria to reap what experts call a demographic dividend; that is if and only if, the energy and potential of Nigeria’s vast youth population can be cultivated and harnessed.

The Nigerian National Youth Policy defines youth as a person between the ages of 18 and 35. Currently an estimated 67million Nigerians fall in this category. This is three times the population of Ghana, one and a half times that of South Africa, and about the size of the entire population of the United Kingdom.

This is a significant demographic that will, over the next 5 to 20 years produce the next generation of Nigerian leaders. We believe that by recognizing talented, gifted and upwardly mobile youths pursuing worthwhile endeavors, we can set a precedence for others to emulate, thus, encouraging them to lead a more focused and passionate existence.

We believe this can serve a stronger motivational push for other young people, as they celebrate their peers who daily overcome societal shortcomings to create value for themselves and others. It is all about youths inspiring youths.
